Travis Carr
DIRECTOR
Travis is a skilled storyteller whose work as a story producer and editor has been seen across top networks and streamers over the last decade. He is a Primetime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Picture Editing. He has also participated in the WGA East Nonfiction Showrunners Training Program and the Cannes Film Festival Screenwriters Residency (CannesFilms Unlimited). His screenwriting has earned Finalist placements in fellowship programs with MGM, the Black List, Sony, the Orchard Project, Script Pipeline First Look Project, and many screenwriting competitions.
Rachel Merrill
LEAD ANIMATOR
Rachel is a multi-Eisner nominee and Ignatz award-winning animator, illustrator, and storyboard artist. Her work has been featured in The New Yorker, Z2 Comics’ “Little Earthquakes” Tori Amos graphic novel anthology, Silver Sprocket’s “Comics for Choice,” and Bright Wall/Dark Room. In 2021, she was a rotoscope artist for the independent feature film “Quantum Cowboys” directed by Geoff Marslett. She is also a Finalist for the Netflix Animation Emerging Creatives Program and the HBOMax x WarnerMedia Access Animated Shorts Program.

Val is a producer with a long track record in nonfiction and unscripted television. She has worked for VICE, ABC, HGTV, Hulu, and many more.
